Defendant was not entitled to a Franks hearing because he merely challenged the veracity of the officer\u2019s affidavit by offering his own account of events, and defendant still admitted the images depicted nude males. A mere denial is not a \u201csubstantial preliminary showing.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/files\/documents\/2024\/05\/09\/y13454.pdf\">Commonwealth v. Dunn<\/a>, 2024 Mass.
