{"id":5364,"date":"2011-03-30T07:33:53","date_gmt":"2011-03-30T06:04:47","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2011-03-30T06:04:47","slug":"en-US","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fourthamendment.com\/?p=5364","title":{"rendered":"In 2009, Sprint provided law enforcement customer GPS location information 8 million times in 13 months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This was brought to my attention today: Christopher Soghoian, on slight paranoia from December 2009: <a href=\"http:\/\/paranoia.dubfire.net\/2009\/12\/8-million-reasons-for-real-surveillance.html\">8 Million Reasons for Real Surveillance Oversight<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Executive Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sprint Nextel provided law enforcement agencies with its customers&#8217; (GPS) location information over 8 million times between September 2008 and October 2009.
