Payne<\/a>, 59 So. 3d 1287 (La. App. 5th Cir. 2011).*<\/p>\n<p>The place where defendant was stopped was a high crime area, and, when talking to the defendant, the officer told him to remove his hands from his pockets (for officer safety). Instead, defendant shoved his hand deeper into his pocket, and the officer forcibly removed it and 10 bags of dope came out, too. This was reasonable. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fifthcircuit.org\/PDF\/OPINIONS\/PO\/2011\/52D725E4-6DCE-4E88-A985-DFC640EF557F.pdf\">State v. Huntley<\/a>, 60 So. 3d 644 (La. App. 5th Cir. 2011).*<\/p>\n<p>The officer\u2019s suspicions were reasonably aroused by defendant\u2019s conduct to call for a drug dog. Whether the drug dog alerted is credited despite the defendant\u2019s claim the dog never alerted. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacoa2.org\/Opinions%20PDF\/45982ka.pdf\">State v. Birgans<\/a>, 57 So. 3d 478 (La. App. 2d Cir. 2011).*<\/p>\n<p>Defendant was free to leave the police station when he gave his statement, so the Fourth Amendment was not violated. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jud.state.ct.us\/external\/supapp\/Cases\/AROcr\/CR299\/299CR21.pdf\">State v.
