It was his daughter\u2019s ashes.<\/a> By Andrea Salcedo (&#8220;Dartavius Barnes sat handcuffed inside a squad car in Springfield, Ill., looking confused as police told him they\u2019d found a container in the center console of his car that tested positive for meth or ecstasy.  &#8230; Barnes has filed a federal lawsuit alleging officers with the Springfield Police Department unlawfully took the sealed urn containing his daughter\u2019s remains, opened it without his consent, and spilled some of the ashes while testing for drugs.
