The protections of the Fourth Amendment and the state constitution are greater. LEXIS 154 (Apr. 8, 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Defendant\u2019s swerving to avoid a temporary patch in the road was still reasonable suspicion for a stop under the court\u2019s reading of the state traffic code. Alternatively, there was probable cause for the stop and search under the automobile exception. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ca4.uscourts.gov\/opinions\/204104.U.pdf\">United States v.
