A writ of mandate is granted preventing the respondent city from using it until a policy complying with state law is adopted. <a href=\"https:\/\/oaklandprivacy.org\/writ-of-mandate-granted-in-oakland-privacy-vs-vallejo\/?eType=EmailBlastContent&amp;eId=1940adff-0952-4de7-907d-a06456d545ff\">Oakland Privacy v. Vallejo<\/a>, FCS054805 (Super. Ct. Solano Co. Nov. 23, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The officer had reasonable suspicion to continue the stop after seeing the paperwork on the vehicle and the driver because of how he drove, taking his time to stop, and other things.
