University police officers followed defendant\u2019s car off campus and outside their jurisdiction, and they stopped him believing there was a warrant out for his arrest. There was, and he was arrested and the vehicle inventoried. The search violated the state constitution because it was clearly outside these officers\u2019 limited jurisdiction. Commonwealth v. Hernandez<\/a>, 456 Mass. 528, 924 N.E.2d 709 (2010).*<\/p>\n

Defendant\u2019s conviction for disorderly conduct for refusing entry to a law enforcement officer was reversed. The officer responded to a 911 domestic call, but there was no evidence justifying an entry on exigent circumstances. Barnes v. State<\/a>, 925 N.E.2d 420 (Ind. App. 2010).*<\/p>\n

The defendant did not abandon the backpack he left with another, and its search was unreasonable. The ATM receipt found inside was inadmissible. However, the officers would have inevitably found the ATM transaction anyway, and the videotape of the transaction from the ATM was admissible in defendant\u2019s murder trial. Commonwealth v.
