After his initial contact with Appellant, Officer Lewis was unable to investigate further due to Appellant&#8217;s condition. Emergency medical personnel at the scene assumed care of Appellant, who was transported to Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. Officer Lewis then assisted with the accident investigation. When Officer Lewis arrived at the hospital at 3:00 a.m., Appellant was in triage.
