He pulled the defendant over, and defendant got out of the car and obviously had something in his mouth. That, too, was reasonable suspicion. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fifthcircuit.org\/PDF\/OPINIONS\/PO\/2009\/39525626-88E0-41C9-BCE6-38F62D4AA26A.pdf\">State v. Schnyder<\/a>, 10 So. 3d 303 (La. App. 5th Cir. 2009).*<\/p>\n<p>Defendant had no reasonable expectation of privacy in his mail as a pretrial detainee (surveying dozens of cases). He mailed a letter which came back with insufficient address. The letter had a copy of an autopsy photograph referring to &#8220;my victim&#8221; which was admitted into evidence. <a href=\"http:\/\/mdcourts.gov\/opinions\/cosa\/2009\/1196s07.pdf\">Sparkman v. State<\/a>, 184 Md. App. 716, 968 A.2d 162 (2009).<\/p>\n<p>Three defendants being drunk in a garage was not an exigent circumstance that they could not be left alone, comparing it to the level of intrusion on their person by entering the garage and then searching them. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sconet.state.oh.us\/rod\/docs\/pdf\/5\/2009\/2009-ohio-1338.pdf\">State v. Waters<\/a>, 181 Ohio App. 3d 424, 909 N.E.2d 183 (5th Dist. 2009).*<\/p>\n<p>Defendant&#8217;s illegal arrest led to a statement that was not sufficiently attenuated from the arrest, and it was suppressed. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tsc.state.tn.us\/OPINIONS\/tcca\/PDF\/091\/GutierrezjnOPN.pdf\">State v.
