A Colorado District Judge has held that investigators illegally rooted through over 5,000 client files at a tax preparation firm looking for evidence of immigrants using false social security numbers.  <a href=\"http:\/\/apps.greeleytribune.com\/custom\/gt_buck_ruling.pdf\">People v. State of Colorado<\/a>, No. 08CR2087 (D.C. Weld County, Mar. 7, 2009).  The Fourth Amendment discussion starts at page 12 of the slip opinion.
