The police didn\u2019t have to have the make and model of the gun to have probable cause. <a href=\"https:\/\/appellate.nccourts.org\/opinions\/?c=2&#038;pdf=35671\">State v. Messer<\/a>, 2017 N.C. App. LEXIS 802 (Oct. 3, 2017).<\/p>\n<p>Plaintiffs were accused of mortgage fraud for not disclosing that their house was over a sinkhole and that they settled an insurance claim for that before selling the house to another a few years later. There was probable cause for the warrant for their arrest, and the defendants are entitled to qualified immunity. <a href=\"http:\/\/media.ca11.uscourts.gov\/opinions\/unpub\/files\/201712023.pdf\">Shew v.
