The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) claims that border officers\u2014from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)\u2014can freely ransack travelers\u2019 smartphones and laptops and the massive troves of highly personal information they contain. This practice is an unconstitutional invasion of privacy and free speech rights.
