{"id":27843,"date":"2017-06-29T17:16:27","date_gmt":"2017-06-29T22:16:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fourthamendment.com\/?p=27843"},"modified":"2017-06-30T07:54:08","modified_gmt":"2017-06-30T12:54:08","slug":"ksfy-aclu-files-suit-over-force-catheterization-process","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fourthamendment.com\/?p=27843","title":{"rendered":"KSFY: ACLU files suit over forced catheterization process"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KSFY: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ksfy.com\/content\/news\/ACLU-files-suit-over-force-catheterization-process-431544093.html\">ACLU files suit over force catheterization process<\/a>:<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>PIERRE, SD (KSFY) \u2013 The American Civil Liberties Union of South Dakota filed a lawsuit Thursday that challenges the use of forced catheterization.<\/p>\n<p>The suit names the South Dakota Department of Social Services, Avera St. Mary\u2019s Hospital, members of the Pierre Police Department, the Sisseton Police Department, and the South Dakota Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement by the ACLU two lawsuits have been filed. One lawsuit was filed on behalf of a three-year-old child who was forcibly catheterized as part of a effort to collect evidence of child abuse or neglect.
