The purpose of the search is unknown to the targets. They do know they were accused of fire code violations. See CNN.com: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2008\/POLITICS\/08\/30\/rnc.protest\/index.html?iref=mpstoryview\">Police raid headquarters of RNC protesters<\/a>. Guns drawn for a fire code violation? Too many people? That certainly sounds dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>There certainly will be other protester arrests in the days to come.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update, Sunday:<\/strong> The federal government appeared to be involved in that raid and others per <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salon.com\/opinion\/greenwald\/2008\/08\/31\/raids\/\">Salon<\/a>.
