Also relevant to consent is the defendant&#8217;s failure to object. <a href=\"http:\/\/supremecourt.ne.gov\/opinions\/2008\/june\/jun17\/a07-682.pdf\">State v. Rathjen<\/a>, 16 Neb. App. 799, 751 N.W.2d 668 (2008).*<\/p>\n<p>Officers blocked the defendant&#8217;s path with their car, and that was a stop. The CI in this case provided information to the police for a year which had proved reliable, and the defendant was to deliver to the CI.
