When the defendant was being arrested, the officer followed him into the bedroom when the defendant was getting dressed, and that was valid for officer safety under <a href=\"http:\/\/caselaw.lp.findlaw.com\/scripts\/getcase.pl?court=us&amp;vol=455&amp;invol=1\"><em>Chrisman<\/em><\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.court.state.nd.us\/court\/opinions\/20070258.htm\">Hoover v. Director, Dept. of Transportation<\/a>, 2008 ND 87, 748 N.W.2d 730 (2008).*<\/p>\n<p>Turn signal violation is strict liability, and the fact that the officer may have mixed motives for the stop is irrelevant.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kscourts.org\/Cases-and-Opinions\/opinions\/supct\/2008\/20080516\/95303.htm\">State v. Greever<\/a>, 286 Kan. 124, 183<br \/>\nP.3d 788 (2008), revg State v. Greever, 150 P.3d 918 (Kan. App. February 2, 2007) posted <a href=\"http:\/\/fourthamendment.com\/blog\/index.php?blog=1&amp;title=well_trained_drug_dog_element_for_a_vali&amp;more=1&amp;c=1&amp;tb=1&amp;pb=1\">here<\/a>.*<\/p>\n<p>Fact that a forfeiture seizure was allegedly illegal was not established to show that a default judgment should be set aside. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.court.state.nd.us\/court\/opinions\/20070336.htm\">State v. $33,000.00 United States Currency<\/a>, 2008 ND 96, 748 N.W.2d 420 (N.D. 2008).*<\/p>\n<p>Defendant was riding with a probationer who had been stopped. He was directed out of the car, and he was handcuffed &#8220;for officer safety.&#8221;  While handcuffed he admitted having used marijuana which was an offense. The arrest was valid and supported by the evidence. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.court.state.nd.us\/court\/opinions\/20070348.htm\">State v.
