Once defendant was lawfully stopped, a <em>Terry<\/em> pat down was conducted and marijuana was discovered on his person. Hand<\/a>, 2008 NMSC 14, 143 N.M. 530, 178 P.3d 165 (2008).*<\/p>\n<p>On a valid traffic stop, the officer approached on the passenger side and directed the occupants to roll down the windows because they were tinted too dark, and the smell of marijuana wafted out, and this was probable cause.
