It was with probable cause, so the <a href=\"http:\/\/caselaw.lp.findlaw.com\/scripts\/getcase.pl?court=us&amp;vol=469&amp;invol=325\"><em>T.L.O.<\/em><\/a> school search analysis does not apply. Also, the plaintiff&#8217;s handcuffing during the search of the car was not unreasonable under <a href=\"http:\/\/caselaw.lp.findlaw.com\/scripts\/getcase.pl?court=us&amp;vol=452&amp;invol=692\"><em>Summers<\/em><\/a>. Hill v. Sharber, 544 F. Supp. 2d 670 (M.D. Tenn. 2008).<\/p>\n<p>Police officers, on legitimate business, do not commit an unlawful search and seizure by approaching a dwelling and questioning the occupants in a \u201cknock and talk.\u201d The presence of trespassing signs, if the approach is otherwise lawful, does not make it unlawful. <a href=\"http:\/\/mdcourts.gov\/opinions\/cosa\/2008\/875s07.pdf\">Jones v.
