The owner was in the back seat and said who she was and that she was suspended. At that point, there was no justification for asking the driver for his DL, and the stop should have ended once it was obvious the reasonable suspicion had dissipated. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.in.gov\/judiciary\/opinions\/pdf\/11201401lmb.pdf\">Johnson v. State<\/a>, 2014 Ind. App. LEXIS 568 (November 20, 2014).<\/p>\n<p>Officers seized defendant\u2019s cell phone without a warrant and scrolled through it. Later a search warrant was obtained based on other probable that didn\u2019t mention the prior look at the phone. The search would not be suppressed because of the independent basis for the search warrant. United States v. Stokes, 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 163668 (D. Nev.
