Gwinnett County<\/a>, 557 Fed. Appx. 864 (11th Cir. February 20, 2014):<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>An officer is entitled to qualified immunity as to a plaintiff&#8217;s claim that he was arrested without probable cause if the officer shows that he had arguable probable cause, rather than actual probable cause. See Grider v. City of Auburn, 618 F.3d 1240, 1257 (11th Cir. 2010). Arguable probable cause is present where reasonable officers in the same circumstances and possessing the same knowledge could have believed probable cause existed. Id. An officer will not be held personally liable where he reasonably, but mistakenly, concludes that probable cause was present.
