Zwick<\/a>, 2014-Ohio-230, 2014 Ohio App. LEXIS 211 (2d Dist. January 24, 2014).<\/p>\n<p>Defendant was at a local police station on an unrelated matter, and an officer found he smelled of marijuana. Defendant returned to his car and was questioned, and admitted to needles for meth in the car. Based on the findings of fact, the search was valid, and the court of appeals (State v. Dalland, 20 Neb. App. 905, 835 N.W.2d 95 (2013)) reversed. <a href=\"http:\/\/supremecourt.ne.gov\/sites\/supremecourt.ne.gov\/files\/sc\/opinions\/s12-615.pdf\">State v. Dalland<\/a>, 287 Neb. 231, 842 N.W.2d 92 (2014).*<\/p>\n<p>Pre-Jones GPS surveillance is valid under Davis good faith exception. And, in this case, as in  United States v. Sparks, 711 F.3d 58 (1st Cir. 2013), the GPS tracking led the police to the scene of another crime. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca11.uscourts.gov\/opinions\/ops\/201212956.pdf\">United States v. Ransfer<\/a>, 2014 U.S. App. LEXIS 1669 (11th Cir.
