NE: Smell of MJ from a car is PC to search it

Defendant’s driving alleged nearly caused an accident with a state trooper and another car, so he stopped it. The smell of marijuana was coming from the car, and that was probable cause for a search of the car. State v. Seckinger, 301 Neb. 963 (Dec. 28, 2018).*

Controlled buys from defendant then a search based on the controlled buys doesn’t permit consecutive sentences under Indiana law. It’s all part of the same investigation. Cannon v. State, 2018 Ind. App. LEXIS 495 (Dec. 28, 2018).*
